Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use Locus.
• Keep your login details secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You own the content you create on Locus — your photos, journeys, pins, and comments. By posting, you grant Locus a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content as needed to run the service and show it to the audience you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that others have already shared.

You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

To keep Locus a welcoming place, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or group.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use Locus to spam, scrape, or collect others' information without consent.

Some features rely on permissions you grant — location, camera, and notifications. You control these and can change them at any time in Settings or your device settings. Turning a permission off may limit the related features.

The Locus name, logo, design, and software are owned by Locus and protected by law. These terms don't grant you any right to use our branding without permission.

You can stop using Locus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its users.

Locus is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that places and information shown will be accurate. Use good judgment when travelling.

To the extent permitted by law, Locus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

We may update these terms as Locus grows. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Locus means you accept the updated terms.
